Our team had a great time at TechDay this year, and we’d like to share our experience with you! Located in downtown Los Angeles, this year’s conference attracted visitors of all kinds: startups, small businesses, large businesses, lone developers, investors, aspiring leaders and inquisitive minds – the list goes on!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit our booth and discuss the importance of not only verifying your users but engaging them as well. We spoke to hundreds of entrepreneurs and professionals who were passionate about website security and ‘contactability’. Our team began to see a pattern emerge in the crowds that were amassing on-site: everyone wants a simpler service, without cutting any corners in terms of features or flexibility. RingCaptcha was created with exactly this in mind, and revealing our solution to this problem was one of the most rewarding experiences of the day.
We also had some invaluable talks with many individuals in many different spaces: FinTech, sharing economy, and e-commerce (just to name a few). We discussed the state of online security and where we believe SMS will take businesses in the near and distant future. We also discussed various approaches to SMS marketing and engagement, and how a global economy can make use of one of the most long-lasting forms of personal identity (phone numbers).
After a jam-packed day of speaking with attendees and vendors alike, the RingCaptcha team left with new insights, and exciting new challenges to conquer. Thank you once again for those who were able to participate in TechDay LA – we can’t wait to see you all next year!
